Meet the McMurreys!
Abby McMurrey grew up in Blanco, Texas, where she attended school from kindergarten through high school graduation. After graduation Abby went on to study Psychology at Texas State University where she met her now husband, Devin. Abby graduated with her Bachelors in Psychology in May of 2017, and began working as a receptionist at aloe skin + body in Wimberley, Texas, where she fell in love with the relaxing and healing environment of the spa. When the opportunity to buy Aloe arose, Abby was incredibly excited to be able to apply her degree to doing something she loves. Abby handles day to day operations as well as behind the scene tasks.
Devin McMurrey grew up in College Station, Texas. He completed his undergraduate degree in Archaeology at Texas State University in 2013, and completed his MBA with Texas State University in May of 2022. Devin handles the technological needs of Aloe while he continues to grow his own phone and computer mobile repair shop (Canyon Lake Phone & Computer Repair). Visit to learn more.
Devin and Abby met running trails at Purgatory park in San Marcos in 2014. It didn’t take long before they were inseparable and they got married at Middleton Brewery in April 2019.
In November of 2020, Kamaron McMurrey was born. Kamaron is the happiest, easiest little baby and cannot wait to help Mommy and Daddy operate the spa.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday 12am - 6pm

Dakota is passionate and dedicated to the art of healing through the massage touch. She feels that proper self-care can soothe the soul, reset the nervous system, and remind ourselves to stay positive and present in our bodies. Massage is a wonderful way to reconnect with ourselves and let go of old tension patterns. Dakota has a skillful understanding of relaxing Swedish massage as well as the more therapeutic side of deep tissue work. She also has a passion for prenatal massage which she gained after a tremendous experience of her own while pregnant. In her spare time, Dakota loves being with her two children riding her horses, gardening, cooking, practicing yoga, traveling and spending time outside.
